EDC Las Vegas jumping to No. 2 keeps Insomniac in the global conversation. It is the highest North American festival on the list, which makes sense after another huge Las Vegas edition and the continued growth of Insomniac as a worldwide dance music operator.
EDC is not just a lineup either. The strength is scale: stage worlds, carnival production, camping, citywide travel and a crowd culture that feels distinct from other American festivals.
Ultra still matters, even at No. 4
Ultra Music Festival dropping behind EDC and UNTOLD does not mean Miami is fading. Ultra remains one of the most important launchpads for the electronic calendar. Miami Music Week still turns the city into an industry hub, and Ultra still gives artists a global livestream stage at the start of festival season.
The poll says less about Ultra losing importance and more about how many heavyweight festival brands now compete for global attention.
The list is global now
The biggest takeaway is how international the top tier has become. Belgium, Las Vegas, Romania, Miami, the Netherlands, India, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany all appear inside the top 10. The old idea that the festival world runs through only a few markets is done.
