EDC Las Vegas 2026: Lineup and Guide

The biggest electronic festival in North America returned to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in mid May. Here's how it played out, and what to know if you're planning your first trip under the Electric Sky.

The scale of it

EDC 2026 put more than 450 artists across 18 stages and music areas over three nights, running dusk till well past dawn. Tickets sold out in under 24 hours, months before a single name was announced, which tells you everything about how this festival works: people buy the experience first and the lineup second. Hardwell, Subtronics, and a GRiZ b2b were among the sets people wouldn't stop talking about, and the guest appearances got out of hand in the best way. Dabin brought out Illenium, Slander, and Jason Ross in one set, Ray Volpe pulled up DJ Snake, and Knock2 crashed Zedd.

The honest part

The music delivered. The logistics didn't. Traffic around the speedway was rough at peak entry and exit, shuttle lines stretched past an hour, and the airport was chaos on either side of the weekend. None of this is new for EDC, but 2026 felt like the festival pressing against the limits of what one weekend at the speedway can hold. Which, it turns out, Insomniac agrees with.

What's next

Two days after the festival ended, Insomniac announced EDC is expanding to two weekends in 2027, with reduced capacity and lower ticket prices for each. It's the biggest format change in the festival's history, and we broke down the full details here.

First-timer basics

It's an 18+ event, it runs overnight (roughly 5pm to 5:30am), and it happens in the desert. Sort your sleep schedule before you land, not after. Book lodging the moment dates drop, budget real money for transportation, and don't plan anything for the Monday after. You'll need it.
