Ultra Worldwide Editions, Explained

Miami is the flagship, but Ultra's global network now stretches through Europe, Japan, Taiwan and more.

Ultra is best known for Miami, but the brand is much bigger than Bayfront Park. Ultra Worldwide has turned the festival into a global network, with editions and affiliated events across Europe, Asia and other major dance markets.

That global footprint matters because Ultra's identity travels well. The formula is clear: large-scale electronic lineups, big stage production, recognizable branding and a mix of mainstage EDM with RESISTANCE-led house and techno.

Miami is still the flagship

Ultra Music Festival in Miami remains the core event. It has the history, the livestream impact and the Miami Music Week connection that makes it feel like the start of the international electronic calendar.

Ultra Europe is the summer destination

Ultra Europe takes the brand to Split, Croatia, with the 2026 edition running July 10 to 12 at Park Mladeži. Its strength is location. A coastal European Ultra hits differently from Miami, especially when paired with Croatia travel, boat parties and RESISTANCE events around the region.

Ultra Japan keeps Asia in the frame

Ultra Japan returns September 19 and 20, 2026 in Tokyo. For a global dance brand, Japan is an important market because the crowd culture, production expectations and city setting give the event a different feel from its Western editions.

Why the worldwide model works

Ultra's advantage is consistency. Fans know the brand before they know the local lineup. That makes it easier to expand internationally without starting from zero every time.

The risk is sameness. The best Ultra editions are the ones that keep the brand recognizable while letting the city shape the weekend. Miami should feel like Miami. Split should feel like Split. Tokyo should feel like Tokyo.
